“The ABC doesn't really like the free market think tank, The Institute of Public Affairs, and I guess it’s fair to say the feeling is mutual,” Mr Kenny said.
He said there was “a bit of deception and trickery” last week when “ABC radio in Melbourne wanted to take aim at the IPA's call for immediate efforts to relax the coronavirus shutdown”.
Mr Kenny said the ABC had “cut out” some information delivered by the IPA’s own Gideon Rozner on the topic.
“So blatant was this deception that it was called out by the ABC's own Media Watch,” Mr Kenny said.
He pointed out the program was not airing on Easter Monday, saying “apparently a dozen taxpayer funded journalists can't produce 15 minutes of television a week when there are public holidays in the way”.
