FDNY fights a FIRE in a HighRise building right next to the FIREHOUSE (R-4 | E-292) on Queens Blvd.

FDNY Queens dispatch received multiple calls from concerned residents reporting smoke throughout the 9th floor of a building on Queens Blvd near 61st street. Upon arrival Battalion 45 transmitted a 10-77 (code for a working fire in a residential highrise) and units went to work. Engine 292 quickly got water on the fire and members evacuated one person with minor injuries.
