The ways we reach out to others seem to have changed in a heartbeat, but one thing always remains the same, that we are called to love others. Jesus asks us, not to love just our friends, but those who have hurt us as well. Matthew 5:43-44 is a timely reminder amidst the challenges of social isolation. Are we reaching out to those who we have distanced ourselves from in the past? Are there old wounds that it is time to finally let heal?
