Strange sounds heard during the Corona Virus pandemic

In early April, while driving north of Toronto for some stargazing, I came across these strange sounds coming out of a forest. They sounded like thousands of birds or maybe something else. But the strange thing is, I have passed by this place hundreds of times at night and never heard this.

Could these birds be out as a result of less human movement and the decreased pollution?
