Updating the Human Value System is at the root of proper societal change. If we evolve our values to present standards, the answers to our questions will become self evident The new value system is actually not new at all, they are the result of the conditions we lived in before the invention of money and markets. Some of these were traditional values were:
-Economic Equality: Hunter gatherers lived in non hierarchical egalitarian settings
-Strong Communal Organization: Children were not raised in nuclear families, but rather by the entire tribe. This improved our sense of connection to one another
-Being Present Minded: A dominant emotional characteristic of Capitalism is anxiety and addiction, which make it difficult to stay in the present. Being present minded can allow one to be more open to change and adaptation
