I thought traveling would give me a lot more content for my videos, making them more interesting and earning me more views.
It ended up doing exactly the opposite.
As a very amateur video creator, I really didn’t know how to make the best of my locations, and the constant change brought on by travel ended up resulting in a slew of new challenges.
New locations, ugly backgrounds, weird lighting… it was tough.
These days, I’m having a lot of fun decorating… but a great YouTube set isn’t just about looks -- it has to be functional too.
