Million-dollar boost to improve health of vital mid-Brisbane River

Almost $1 million will be spent over the next three years to improve water quality in one of South East Queensland’s most vital waterways.

Natural Resources, Mines and Energy Minister Dr Anthony Lynham and Member for Ipswich West Jim Madden today announced Seqwater’s latest catchment partnership program.

The program is a partnership between Seqwater and Healthy, Land and Water to work directly with landholders along the mid-Brisbane River on projects including revegetating riverbanks, installing fencing and gully stabilisation.
