mr i explains: What affects the size of a population? Food availability, disease, predation and climate are thought to be the 4 key factors that affect the size of any given population. In this video, I explore how these relate to the standard population growth curve, with reference to the four distinct phases; lag, log, stationary and death. The video will also refer to the 'demographic transition', and numerous other graphs in relation to population data.
