Payment Status not available:

The Treasury gave us an update over the weekend and told us that Social Security, Survivor and Disability non-filers would be able to see their stimulus check payments arrive in their bank accounts by April 29th. VA recipients should begin receiving their stimulus payments by early May and SSI non-filers should begin seeing payments in early May as well.

The IRS did an update early this week, so if you had successfully entered your bank information through the IRS Get My Payment Tool by April 28th at noon your payment date will be available beginning the following Saturday (May 9th). If you missed the Tuesday deadline, you have to wait another week to get a payment date. Or, if your payment has already been processed, you’ll just end up getting a physical check and that could take up to 14 days to receive.
The IRS has said those beneficiaries of SSI and VA who have children and who DID NOT file a tax return for 2018 or 2019 need to update their information by May 5th in order for their eligible dependents to be counted in their stimulus payments. I don’t want you to miss this and I know I speak fast so once again if you have not filed tax returns for the 2018 or 2019 tax years and you have children under the age of 17 and you want to receive the extra $500 per child you need to go straight to the non-filer tool on the IRS website, I’ll provide the link in the description box for you to click on. Before registering you can take a look at this video right here and I do a full walk through tutorial on how to use the IRS non-filer form. you’ll just need to submit your personal info, bank account number, state-issued ID if you have one, and then the personal information of each child that qualifies.

Social Security and Railroad Retirement beneficiaries who didn’t file a tax return were given until noon on April 22nd to claim an extra $500 payment for dependents under 17, if they didn’t claim them then they will have to wait until next year to receive those funds.
There is possibly some good news though, a bipartisan group of Senators sent a letter on Apr. 24th to the Treasury and the IRS last week asking that Social Security and Railroad Retirement beneficiaries be allowed to register their dependent children this year.

Reasons why you haven’t gotten your stimulus check

1. You don’t have a bank-account.
The FDIC and IRS have been pushing people to open a bank account so they can get their stimulus money faster.

2. You make too much money
Make sure first of all that you are eligible for the $1,200 stimulus payment. After talking with a few people I’ve helped them see that they actually make too much money. $1,200 Payments have been approved to individuals making below $75,000 and a Payment of $2,400 has been approved to married couples earning under $150,000.

The $1200 or $2400 payment declines by $5 for every $100 above the $75,000 or $150,000 threshold. The cut off point for those who don’t qualify is anyone making over $99,000 or a couple making over $198,000.

3. Someone else is claiming you as a dependent
If you’re a young adult check with your parents or guardian because you may have been claimed by your parents.
4. Debt Collectors
If you have debt collectors on your tail that may be one of the reasons your payment has disappeared.
